Want to get more involved in your community, but don’t know where to start? Engineers and Scientists Acting Locally is pleased to announce the Local Engagement Playbook: resources and short how-to guides, each focused on a different way to get engaged. Each page of the Playbook brings together step-by-step instructions, curated content, and related resources to help transform your interest into action so that you can make a difference in your community!

We have curated resources and ESAL content for many types of engagement, including the activities on our Local Engagement Checklist. We are also launching with two step-by-step guides, on supporting local ballot initiatives and delivering public comments. More guides are in the works and will be released periodically, so follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn for updates!

Have you used our guides or have suggestions? Is there a type of engagement that we haven’t covered? Please let us know at playbook@esal.us.
